Tomorrow’s leaders need to be equipped for tomorrow’s challenges and we must adequately prepare our children for the future they will inherit. In an era where we are largely disconnected from nature, it is important to make a real investment in understanding our environment. The program is a commitment to provide environmental education with an urban context to grow young people who champion nature conservation.
CAST Away is a nature appreciation program that takes you through a journey of cultures, traditions and practices that are in sync with nature and its quirks. You will have the opportunity to know yourselves and your impact on the environment, and thus be able to make informed decisions to influence issues affecting your day to day life.
Conservation is ultimately about human behaviors, and worldwide research has consistently found that our behaviors are driven more by emotions than by knowledge.
Program Components
The CAST Away program is focused on four components - Culinary Exploration, Adventure-based challenges, Sports, Tradition and Culture based immersions.
Culinary Exploration
Culinary exploration and understanding the diversity of cultures and landscapes through recipes that are drawn from different
Kitchens of India.
Sports
Sports that take you back in time, to the days of gilli danda, lagori, golis, Kabaddi, Kho Kho and tokkudu billa.
Adventure-based Challenges
Adventure-based challenges that call for a varied set of skills to come together, be it leadership, physical fitness, or a revered team player.
Tradition and Culture
Tradition and Culture-based immersions establish memorable and enriching learning platforms and instill a sensitized perspective of the countryside.

CAST Away programs are delivered in Worldview and partner campuses around the world. These campuses are ideal habitat to explore your reciprocal relationship with Nature, participate in outdoor adventure sports and a host of other inquisitive learning activities.

Experienced Facilitators & Onsite Staff
Facilitators and program curators engaged in delivering learning elements come with immense experience in experiential learning programs. The support staff is carefully selected, trained and come with hands-on experience in their respective domains.
Comfortable Stay Experience
Care is given in selecting the learning campuses and accommodation options for our programs. Besides a comfortable stay, food, modern amenities and logistics, these campuses are also hub spots for learning and reflection.
Health & Safety
Personal Attention and Curated Experiences
Programs are personalized after consulting schools about their learning objectives. Student groups are split further into smaller functioning groups, led by facilitators and further assisted by support staff to ensure personalized attention and learning.
Healthy Meals
Food is not only important for functioning through the program but also an experience. Our programs maintain a balanced menu that appeals to different palates, while being healthy. We personalize the meals based on the preferences and dietary information collected.
A comprehensive risk assessment is conducted at regular periods of time to ensure a safe program experience for schools. All logistics, equipment and materials used on program are licensed and/or provided by licensed and registered vendors. The facilitators and support staff are trained in First-Aid and handling any emergency situations. Doctors and medical practitioners are on stand-by and we work with nearby hospitals to provide immediate care in such situations.
